Join the Lifestyle Team at Westhaven Aged Care Community in Footscray and help bring joy, connection, and companionship to older people in our care. As a Baptcare Volunteer, you’ll receive a full site induction and ongoing support to ensure a fulfilling and meaningful experience. You’ll assist with a range of engaging activities, such as: Games and puzzles Coffee Club (helping serve tea/coffee) Group dining and conversation Gentle exercise and walking groups Bingo and entertainment One-on-one chats (Companion Volunteer) Fun theme days like Melbourne Cup, cultural celebrations, and seasonal holidays We take the time to get to know you, your interests, hobbies, and motivations, so your volunteering journey is as rewarding for you as it is for the people you support. Many of our residents have limited family connections; your presence can bring warmth, friendship, and real joy into their lives.
