About The Role The Business Support Officer – Safety plays an integral role within the Safety & Wellbeing Team, providing essential business support to ensure the effective delivery of safety initiatives across the Council. Your responsibilities will include: Maintaining the Work Health and Safety Management System Managing logistics for safety consultancy forums Facilitating injury management performance reporting Involved in claims administration and return‑to‑work logistics management Who We’re Looking For We seek a proactive and detail‑oriented individual who is committed to promoting safety and wellbeing within the community. Relevant experience in safety, injury management, or business administration Current C Class Driver’s Licence is essential Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe products Excellent multitasking and prioritisation abilities, with strong communication skills Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly and with professionalism What We Offer Package: $69,785 - $73,858 gross p.a. plus 12% superannuation Hours of work: Temporary Part Time, 28 hours per week (4 days). Opportunity expected to be available until mid‑November 2026.
