Key Account Manager

The Opportunity We need an experienced and dedicated Key Account Manager to provide the right solutions that meet the needs of our clients. Your core focus will be managing a portfolio of major accounts and existing customer relationships as well as business development across the region. Delivering increased sales, market share, HME maintenance plans and market intelligence functions for the mining sector. The role requires regional travel and is a full‑time permanent position. About You As the successful candidate, you will be hard‑working, results focused, self‑motivated and at the same time, good with people and dedicated to the team’s success. Furthermore, you have: A ability to meaningfully connect, engage, and work with a wide variety of different people A proven ability to build excellent relationships with key decision makers A track record of meeting and exceeding targets Demonstrated commercial acumen A genuine desire to collaborate internally with our team A technical or trade‑based background Duties & Responsibilities Reporting to the National Sales Manager, your key responsibilities include: Retain and grow an existing portfolio of major key accounts Develop close relationships with key decision makers and other people of influence across your portfolio Identify and help problem‑solve new solutions for our clients Work collaboratively with our managers and workshop supervisors as we usher those solutions in Develop and deliver sales plans with appropriate managers within HEPI Drive the sales process from plan to close, managing budgets as you progress Keep informed of the different products and services we provide to ensure HEPI retains our distinct competitive advantage.
