School Crossing Supervisor - Heckenberg Public School Organisation/Entity: Transport For NSW Job category: Safety Job location: Heckenberg, NSW, AU, 2168 Job reference number: Employment type: Permanent Part-Time Salary range: $26.43 per hour In this Role Become a Road Safety Hero and a familiar face in the community, ensuring the safety of students, parents, teachers, and motorists during school crossing hours (8:15–9:15AM and 2:30–3:30PM). You will supervise 20 hours per fortnight and may be compensated during school holidays (Terms 1–3). You will receive an hourly rate plus superannuation. Responsibilities Supervise school crossing zones during scheduled hours. Maintain vigilance to potential hazards and report incidents. Communicate effectively with children, staff, and parents. Adhere to all safety protocols and site instructions. About You You are a community‑mindful, reliable individual who can work in all weather conditions and possesses effective communication skills. You must be 18 years or older at the time of appointment and be willing to obtain a Working with Children Check, Reference Checks, Police Check, and a Health Assessment (training and equipment will be provided). If you already hold a Working with Children Check you are preferred.
