Overview
As an Informatics Account Manager you will be responsible for a territory of varied accounts which will be managed through a consultancy and partnering approach to design and deliver solutions that will benefit our customers. Accounts can require bespoke, cutting edge solutions others require off the shelf solutions. Our Account Managers are responsible for balancing and managing a territory of well-established accounts with a good installation base with the expectation that they can grow accounts and sales base.
Within a typical week our Account Managers will develop a pipeline, manage opportunities and provide forecasts to the management team. Regularly meeting with customers in person or virtually to explore avenues of partnering with them as well as introducing new technology. Waters Informatics Account Managers work closely with the Commercial, Marketing and our Professional Services team.
This activity requires strong account management, customer service and rapport building skills as well as an ability to talk through a customer’s requirements.

Achieve orders and sales goals for your designated territory Discuss product solutions and concepts with prospective customers Position and demonstrate at high level Waters Informatics products, Empower CDS, NuGenesis LMS and Waters_Connect, to prospective customers Manage accounts in collaboration with System Account Managers and Distributors and expand business within your designated territory Develop and execute selling plans and projects to expand accounts and capture new business Contribute to the long-term satisfaction and loyalty of customers Develop relationships with key customer accounts using a trusted advisor approach Interface with the Waters field organization on strategic planning and service delivery Organise events/webinars to keep customers and distributors abreast of new developments Ensure CRM compliance (Compass) on opportunities being worked upon Support the organisation business goals by maximising any opportunities through every customer interactionBeing an Informatics Account Manager involves travel throughout the territory of responsibility and brings you a great degree of flexibility in how you manage your accounts and how you work in the field
This is a great opportunity to build a successful sales record with the leading measurement company and a great opportunity to learn along the way. There are multiple avenues to grow further in Waters both within the role and beyond depending on what you would like to do - this could be within sales, marketing or in one of our more technical positions.
Qualifications
Requirements:
Field sales and chromatography laboratory workflow experience are required. Demonstrated experience with enterprise class software solutions such as CDS, Lab Management System products, etc. Previous use of Waters Informatics, or competitive systems would be advantageousIn return you will receive:
