The Impact You’ll Make
The Clean Key Account Technologist (KAT) will play a pivotal role in managing and nurturing relationships with our key customers. This position requires a deep understanding of semiconductor processes and equipment, as well as the ability to provide technical expertise and support to ensure customer satisfaction and success.
What You’ll Do
Customer Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, acting as the primary technical point of contact. Priority Alignment: Drive alignment between account teams and clean product line on priorities for market penetrations and defenses. Process Optimization: Collaborate with customers to optimize semiconductor manufacturing processes, ensuring the highest levels of efficiency and performance. Product Demonstrations: Organize product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the capabilities and benefits of Lam Research technologies. Feedback Loop: Gather and relay customer feedback to internal teams to drive continuous improvement and innovation in our products and services. Training and Education: Provide training and educational resources to customers and account teams to enhance their understanding and utilization of Lam Research technologies. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, engineering, and product development teams to align customer needs with company objectives.
Who We’re Looking For
Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Engineering or a related field. Advanced degree preferred. Experience: Minimum of 12 years of experience in the semiconductor industry with a Bachelor degree, or 8 years with a Masters degree or 5 years with a PhD. Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes and equipment. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English required. Additionally strong communication skills in Chinese preferred. Travel: Willingness to travel internationally up to 25%.

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
