SunDrive (www.sundrivesolar.com) is an Australian start-up solar business founded in 2015 by Vince Allen and David Hu. Having completed a successful Series A comprising of Grok Ventures, Blackbird, Mainsequence, CEFC and others, they are now gearing up for a significant Series B and require a CFO to join their top tier executive team.
Reporting to the President & Co-Founder, you will work closely with the Executive team and Board in the creation and execution of the business strategy to establish SunDrive as a major player within the global solar industry. You, in partnership with key executives, will shape and execute the Series B funding strategy, as well as subsequent funding rounds and ultimate exit. As well as the carriage of finance, you will partner with the rest of the executive team in fulfilling the external facing role in managing shareholders and investors and communicating with public markets, should an IPO be the ultimate exit channel.
We are looking for an investment banking, corporate finance, advisory background coupled with corporate experience as a CFO. If you have exposure across high-capex or complex industries such as renewables, high-tech manufacturing, energy, technology, or infrastructure this will be highly regarded. You will have deep transactional experience gained from advisory and/or corporate and bring significant commercial and strategic thinking. You are an accomplished leader, who wants to make a big impact in your role. SunDrive is a high-profile business with a globally recognized board but is still a start-up. Therefore, you will need to bring a ‘hands-on’ style as well as the gravitas to be credible to these stakeholders.
