The Senior Publisher Success Manager is the day-to-day contact for a subset of premium publisher partners. Reporting to the Head of Publisher Development for our JAPAC region, this role is the backbone of GumGum's premium publisher partnerships in Australia and New Zealand with possible oversight of various Southeast Asian Publishers. This individual is essential to retaining Tier 1 and 2 accounts while unlocking their maximum revenue potential.

The Senior Publisher Success Manager will independently own relationships with our top publisher partners – part of this role is building and maintaining meaningful relationships with Publisher clients through meetings, in-person wherever possible in and around Sydney with some travel required to other markets. Through these relationships and their industry knowledge, this individual will be crucial in helping develop the company’s overall publisher development strategy.

The Senior Publisher Success Manager possesses a passion for customer success and serves as an expert on GumGum’s products, publisher tools and platforms. An ideal candidate will be expected to be present in the London office a few times per week.

Note: GumGum fosters a flexible work environment, offering GumGummers the ability to work either in-office or remotely/from home. However, for occasional in-person collaboration, we kindly ask that this position be located within a 'commutable' distance to our office.

What You'll Achieve

  • Independently owns Tier 1 and Tier 2 publisher partnerships, including some of the world’s biggest and well-known websites.
  • Conducts QBRs with our top publisher partners in offices where possible, and other in-person meetings with Publisher clients in and around Sydney whenever possible
  • Discusses and analyzes industry trends through conversations with publisher partners and in turn helps develop overall publisher strategy
  • Serve as an expert on GumGum’s products, publisher tools and platforms.
  • Identify and provide solutions to bottlenecks in account management duties and processes
  • Escalates inbound technical issues to Solutions Engineers as needed while managing external partner communications & expectations
  • Monitor daily reporting to proactively identify trends, issues, and growth opportunities, and present them externally to help drive new revenue via upsells
  • Fully supports publisher onboarding implementations - working closely with GumGum’s solutions engineering and partner management teams

Skills You'll Bring

  • BA/BS degree in Business (Advertising/Marketing) or similar experience
  • 3 to 5 years experience in digital media/ad tech, with exposure to a network, exchange, or SSP environment
  • Experience in a startup environment is a plus
  • Experience in an account management role within ad tech creating solutions on behalf of clients
  • Experience with JIRA, Zendesk, Google Sheets, and ticketing systems
  • Ability to analyze data to spot trends
  • Familiarity with the media industry, digital advertising, the lumascape and ad tech
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize
  • Clear communicator (verbal & email) with experience in a customer facing role
  • Ability to think critically and view issues from different perspectives
  • Ability to breakdown complex problems and appropriately articulate them to the necessary parties
  • Experience in Excel, PowerPoint, GSuite applications. (Jira & Google Ad Manager are a plus)
  • Self-starter mentality but not afraid to ask questions
  • Team player who takes ownership of a situation and sees it through
  • Passion for media and aiding publishers via advertising products
  • Desire to build true partnerships that are beneficial to both publishers and GumGum
  • Desire to work with a wide and diverse group of clients
