The Role:

Our global client withe established business in Australia over the years is looking for a results-oriented B2B Sales Lead to drive their sales and business development initiatives in Australia. This role is a fantastic opportunity to demonstrate your strategic expertise, leadership capabilities, and industry knowledge while contributing to our global success. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and target prospective clients in the banking and financial sector, including banks, credit unions, lending institutions, and related entities.
  • Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with key decision-makers, stakeholders, and influencers to understand their needs, challenges, and business objectives.
  • Manage the complete sales cycle, from lead generation and qualification to contract negotiation and deal closure.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer success, to ensure alignment and support in delivering client value.

Skills and Experience:

  • 8+ years' experience with proven success in software sales, particularly within the banking, financial services industry.
  • Experience in strategic planning, business development, and client relationship management.
  • Strong knowledge of lending processes, financial technology (Fintech), and the regulatory landscape in Australia.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing revenue growth opportunities.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
