With our headquarters nestled in the scenic Northern Beaches of Sydney, we pride ourselves on our commitment to excellence, sustainability, and customer satisfaction. Our dedicated team delivers top-notch cleaning services to a diverse range of industries nationwide. We are now seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of People and Performance to join our leadership team and drive our human resources strategy.

Role Overview:

As the Head of People and Performance, you will play a crucial role in shaping and executing our HR strategy to support Vivid's growth and operational excellence. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will lead a team of HR professionals and be responsible for all aspects of HR, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, learning and development, and organisational culture. This role requires a strategic thinker who is also comfortable with hands-on work, ensuring the effective implementation of HR initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Oversee the recruitment and selection process to attract and retain top talent.
  • Design and implement performance management systems to drive high performance and employee engagement.
  • Foster a positive workplace culture that promotes employee well-being, diversity, and inclusion.
  • Manage employee relations, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Develop and oversee training and development programs to enhance employee skills and career progression.
  • Lead organisational development initiatives to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Monitor and manage HR metrics to drive data-driven decision-making.
  • Act as a strategic partner to the executive team, providing HR insights and recommendations.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 6 years of HR experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record in developing and implementing successful HR strategies.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team.
  • Experience in the commercial cleaning or similar industry is a plus.
