**Valsoft Corporation on behalf of Aspire Software, we are currently looking for a Head of Products and Solutions to join the team**

You will lead a cross functional team and oversee their activities to ensure high quality software product development, the successful delivery of software projects and reliable operations of live customer systems. You make technical and architectural decisions for the software products. You will work closely with product and project managers to ensure the solutions meet client requirements, are on schedule and on budget.

**Here is a little window into our company**: Aspire Software, an operating division of Valsoft Corporation, is a software company that acquires and develops vertical market software companies, enabling each business to deliver the best mission-critical solutions for customers in their respective industry or niche that include (but not limited to) the Hospitality sector, Food and Beverage, Auto Rental Services, Marina and Marine Management, Golf Course Management and Logistics.

**What your day will look like**:

- Manage your team activities and oversee workload to ensure the successful delivery of tasks (on schedule, within budget and scope) and the reliable operation of customer systems.
- Provide guidelines and support to the team members and put measures in place to improve quality of work where needed
- Have ownership over any technical and architectural decisions for the software products and define all technical requirements for any changes
- Ensure all technical design specifications meet high quality standards and are aligned with business/client expectations
- Manage product roadmaps and delivery of new releases to customers
- Oversee monitoring of live customer systems and ensure reliable operation of them to meet SLA agreements
- Ensure problems in live systems are handled in a timely manner and support with the resolution of issues
- Drive further automation, standardization and improvement of processes in development, delivery and operation
- Support Project Managers and Client Account Managers with defining reliable and maintainable solutions that ensure customer satisfaction
- Maintain log of product and process inconsistencies/issues/software concerns as well as follow-up and/or resolution by product development team
- Identify & document potential risks and issues and determine mitigation strategies
- Ensure that the software development and operation is ISO 27001 compliant
- Liaise with Client IT departments to support on technical aspects of software implementation and operation
- Any other duties within the post holder's competence as requested

**About you**:

- 2-3 years of experience in leading and managing software development team
Technical education / degree or 3-5 years of experience in software development
- Profound knowledge of.NET development (C#)
- Excellent database skills (MS SQL Server)
- Knowledge of continuous integration & continuous deployment processes/tools
- Hands-on approach and good problem solving skills
- High level of attention to detail
- Distinct analytical and communications skills
Self-reliant, reliable and excellent interpersonal skills
- Professional approach to work and when dealing with internal and external customers
- Team player who demonstrates a high level of commitment, adopts a flexible and positive approach
- Ability to work unsupervised with good time management skills in order to prioritize workload, meet tight deadlines, in a fast paced, pressurized and challenging environment
- Good command of English and German in word and script
- Must be a European Citizen or a Permanent Resident
- Microsoft certification (eg. Azure solutions architect) is an asset
- Experienced in IT-requirements engineering and IT-operations is an asset
- Experience with ISO 27001 is an asset
- DevOps experience
