**About the job**

The health and safety of our people are our top priority and as our new Global Health & Safety (H&S) Expert you will greatly contribute to this important mission. Reporting directly to our Head of Global Health, Safety & Environment, you will work in the field of occupational and technical safety, acting as an interface between our global, regional and local H&S structures. In this position, you will be responsible for the global governance over the development of a unified safety culture across all our locations worldwide. Bringing in your global level of expertise, you will pro-actively analyze and review existing safety standards and identify best practices. Where action is needed, you develop new concepts and accompany their roll-out in the regions. In this position, you will travel nationally & internationally up to approx. 30% of your working time.

**In addition, your tasks will include**
- Monitoring of trends and results by quantitative KPIs and their communication
- Organizing the safety reporting streams for ensuring that standards are set and followed (also for our Annual Report)
- Participating in investigations and risk-assessments for existing machinery and new investments
- Identifying training needs to elaborate further content for global implementation

**What we expect from you in terms of**

**Education & Skills**
- A technical or engineering background (e.g., a technical high school/HTL or university degree)
- Well-recognized certification as a safety officer
- Extensive knowledge and proven track record in H&S in a global manufacturing and/or construction environment
- Certifications as fire safety officer or ISO 45001 auditor are considered an asset
- IOSH or NEBOSH certifications are considered an asset

**Languages**
- English - Proficient/Fluent
- German - Proficient/Fluent
- Knowledge of Portuguese and/or Turkish will be considered an asset

**Work Experience**
- Several years of relevant working experience in a global manufacturing and/or construction environment

The annual gross salary for this position will start from € 80.000,00 on a full-time basis, depending on your qualification and experience, as well as the amount of overtime and your level of seniority. We will make sure to offer you a competitive salary package that values your relevant background and that’s in line with market values.
