**Your position**:

As a manager in Solutions Engineering, you have the skills to lead, support and motivate your presales consulting team. You enjoy working on joint development in an international team of experienced IT-architects and Solutions Specialists. You know how to position NetApp's technologies, services and solutions at different levels of responsibility for our customers and how to adapt to the dialogue of partners, questioning and understanding their motives and motivational factors.

**Your task**:
Your area of responsibility includes the technical and disciplinary management of the pre-sales technical specialist team in Austria. You see a multicultural, diverse team as a success factor in further developing and positioning innovative, intelligent data management and cloud solutions for our Austria Enterprise and Commercial market.

You will take over the control and resource planning of your team, coordinate day-to-day business, while you are also actively involved in projects in your management function. You represent NetApp in Austria together with the Enterprise and Commercial Sales Leadership as well as other business functions.

Learning never ends, so it motivates you to accompany your team through coaching, feedback and open communication through market changes in IT and to develop them professionally. Active change management is close to you, you like to shape changes instead of just experiencing them.

You are responsible for the technical representation of NetApp to our customers. Your team represents the solution competence and innovation culture of our company.

You come across as competent, likeable, open and reliable to the people you are talking to. You can inspire those around you. Your task will focus on active contact with customers and partners in cooperation with the responsible sales and service leadership team and ensuring that complex data centers and (hybrid) cloud architectures are handled with confidence and implemented professionally.

**As Manager, Solutions Engineering you will**:
lead the Austria team of Account Technology Specialists, Account SEs and Partner Technical Leads
be part of the Western Europe Solutions Engineering Leadership Team
coach, motivate, develop and define common goals for your team across Enterprise and Commercial customers
lead technical concepts and architectures for NetApp's range of products, solutions and services with your team
convince our customers of the value of the same
collaborate with our Hyperscaler partners (AWS, Google, Microsoft) and co-manage the technical partnership
plan resources
stay in close contact with our product management and peers in other countries
be responsible for employee and team development
support marketing and technical positioning for NetApp at local and internal events

**Your profile**:
You have leadership experience in highly qualified IT teams and in dealing with IT managers in large companies
Understanding of the technologies underpinning data management, all-flash storage arrays, cloud services and architectures and modern container-based software landscapes; AI/ML, DevOps are not unfamiliar abbreviations for you
You know IT trends, disruptions and changes that concern the IT industry
Ability to anticipate problems, identify them and deliver technical solutions together with our internal teams
Support for technical escalations at management level
Ability to design creative and industry-leading technical solutions to complex problems
Quick learner combined with a wealth of ideas to address new trends quickly and effectively
Deep understanding of your customer base and technology partners
Cultural, diverse awareness
Competent ability to create and deliver client presentations
Ability and experience to lead and manage a high performance team
Resource planning ability
Secure communication at customer, management and employee level
Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to promote individual and team development
Business fluent German, English and a sound technical education
