Salary and Benefits

We offer an attractive salary package, with a minimum gross annual salary of €59,766.98, in accordance with the collective agreement for the metal industry. Based on your qualifications and experience, you can expect a performance-related salary with corresponding overpayment.

Job DescriptionProject Management for Industrial Systems

As our Industrial Systems Procurement Lead, you'll be responsible for managing projects related to the procurement of industrial systems, machining centers, and machines for engine component production. Your focus will be on interlinked systems, automation, and robotics. You'll oversee the planning, organization, and commissioning of new investments and machines, from determining requirements to series production.

You'll manage a project team consisting of sub-project managers and specialists, as well as interface between internal departments and external suppliers. This role requires independent negotiation with suppliers and procurement of machines, systems, and machining centers for industrial metalworking.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Project organization, including budget and schedule planning, quality assurance, reporting, process documentation, and more
  • Management of efficiency improvement and lean projects
Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Technical qualification (HTL, FH, or university) in mechanical engineering, automation technology, industrial engineering, automotive, or a similar field
  • Experience and proven success in plant procurement, plant construction, or setting up production lines
  • Industry experience in industrial metalworking, automotive, or mechanical engineering/plant construction is an advantage
  • Project management skills with good perseverance and a structured approach
  • Organizational talent, negotiation skills, strong communication abilities in German and English, and IT/ERP routine (ideally SAP)
  • A willingness to travel internationally (approx. 10-20%)
