Project Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team at BRP-Rotax. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the procurement and implementation of industrial systems, machining centres, and machines for the production of engine components.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the planning, organisation and commissioning of new investments and machines, from determining requirements to series production.
  • Lead a project team consisting of sub-project managers and specialists, as well as interface between internal departments and external suppliers.
  • Conduct independent negotiations with suppliers and procure machines, systems and machining centres for industrial metalworking.
  • Manage project organisation, including budget and schedule planning, quality assurance, reporting, process documentation, etc.
  • Independently manage efficiency improvement and lean projects.

Requirements

  • Technical qualification (HTL, FH, university) specialising in mechanical engineering, automation technology, industrial engineering, automotive or similar.
  • Experience and proven success in the field of plant procurement, plant construction or setting up production lines.
  • Industry experience in industrial metalworking, in the automotive industry or in mechanical engineering / plant construction is an advantage.
  • Experience in project management with good perseverance and a structured way of working, organisational talent and negotiating skills.
  • Strong communication skills in German and English, IT and ERP routine (ideally SAP) and willingness to travel internationally (approx. 10-20%).
