Cybersecurity Leadership Opportunity in Sustainable Supply Chain Management

Your Mission as an IT Security Team LeaderWe seek an experienced cybersecurity professional to lead our team of experts in designing and implementing comprehensive cybersecurity strategies and initiatives. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Leading and mentoring a small team of cybersecurity professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
- Overseeing the development and implementation of cutting-edge cybersecurity measures to safeguard our organisation's infrastructure and data.
- Conducting regular risk assessments and vulnerability evaluations to proactively identify and mitigate potential threats.
- Managing security incident response and investigations, coordinating with relevant stakeholders to minimise the impact of security breaches.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and best practices, integrating them into our security operations.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications are a plus.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in a cybersecurity role, ideally as an IT Security Engineer with extensive blue teaming experience.
- First-hand experience in managing a team (ideally minimum 1 year).
- In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, industry standards, and best practices.
- Experience with cloud environments is essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Bonus points for
- Industry-recognised cybersecurity certifications, such as CISSP or CISM.
- Experience with ISO27001.
- Previous experience in incident response handling and forensics analysis.
