Cybersecurity Team Leader

Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced IT Security Team Leader to oversee our cybersecurity strategy and team. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Leading a small team of cybersecurity professionals to foster a collaborative work environment and ensure high-quality performance.
- Developing and implementing cybersecurity strategies to safeguard our infrastructure and data.
- Conducting regular risk assessments and vulnerability scans to proactively identify and mitigate potential threats.
- Managing security incident response and investigations, collaborating with relevant stakeholders to minimize the impact of security breaches.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and best practices, and integrating them into our security operations.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field, with relevant certifications preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in a cybersecurity role, ideally as an IT Security Engineer with extensive blue teaming experience.
- Proven experience in managing a team (ideally minimum 1 year).
- In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, industry standards, and best practices.
- Experience with cloud environments is mandatory.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Competitive Salary: €3,828 per month (minimum salary based on Austrian law), with actual compensation adjusted according to qualifications, experience, and specific role.
