Lead Cybersecurity Engineer for Vulnerability Management

Porsche Informatik, a leading provider of digital solutions for the automotive industry, is seeking an experienced Lead Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team in Salzburg or Vienna.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled cybersecurity professional to lead our vulnerability management efforts. As a Lead Cybersecurity Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing security strategies to protect our infrastructure and systems from cyber threats.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity, with experience in vulnerability management, threat analysis, and incident response. You will also possess excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement vulnerability management strategies to identify and remediate security risks
  • Analyze and respond to security incidents, working closely with IT teams to ensure prompt resolution
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement cybersecurity policies and procedures
  • Liaise with external partners and vendors to ensure compliance with security standards and regulations
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in information security, preferably in vulnerability management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Proficiency in cloud security concepts and technologies, with experience in AWS or Azure a plus
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are highly desirable
