Cybersecurity Leadership Position in Supply Chain Risk Management

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Security Team Leader to join our team at Prewave GmbH, a leading provider of AI-powered supply chain risk management solutions.

Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will lead and mentor a small team of cybersecurity professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment. Key responsibilities include:
- Cybersecurity Strategy and Implementation: Oversee the design and implementation of cybersecurity strategies and initiatives to safeguard our organisation's infrastructure and data.
- Risk Assessment and Vulnerability Management: Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability assessments, ensuring proactive identification and mitigation of potential threats.
- Security Incident Response and Investigations: Manage security incident response and investigations, coordinating with relevant stakeholders to minimise the impact of security breaches.
- Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Trends: Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and best practices, and integrate them into our security operations.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's Degree: A degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications are a plus.
- Proven Experience: 5+ years of experience in a cybersecurity role, ideally as an IT Security Engineer with extensive blue teaming experience.
- Team Management: First experience in managing a team (ideally minimum 1 year).
- Cybersecurity Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, industry standards, and best practices.
- Cloud Experience: Experience with cloud environments is a must.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
We offer a competitive compensation package, including:
- Salary: EUR 38,280 per month (minimum salary as per collective agreement), adjusted based on qualifications, experience, and specific role.
