**Job Summary**

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) is seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Fuel Cycle Specialist to join our team. As an Unattended Monitoring Systems Engineer, you will play a critical role in safeguarding nuclear fuel cycle facilities and ensuring the safe and secure use of nuclear energy.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Design, develop, and implement nuclear detectors and related data acquisition systems for Non-Destructive Assay (NDA) applications.
  • Work with software for NDA, such as FRAM, MGA, INCC, and MIC, to analyze and interpret data.
  • Collaborate with experts to model complex gamma and neutron detector systems using MCNP.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in nuclear instrumentation, including safeguards instrumentation.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to colleagues and stakeholders.

**Requirements**

  • Bachelor's Degree in Physics, Applied Physics, or Nuclear/Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in the deployment, production, or use of nuclear instrumentation, with a focus on unattended applications.
  • Excellent oral and written command of English. Knowledge of other official IAEA languages is an asset.
