IoT Connectivity Solution Manager

A1 Telekom Austria seeks a seasoned Senior Technical Product Manager to lead the development and lifecycle management of its Managed Connectivity Offering.
Job DescriptionThis position involves scope, development, and management of solutions, defining Roadmaps, and incident handling. You will collaborate with technical teams to define the architecture and design of IoT connectivity solutions, providing technical support to development teams, especially when integrating new technologies or platforms.
You will assess new technologies, networks, and platforms relevant to IoT applications, lead and coordinate product development projects, including scheduling, resource allocation, and progress tracking. You will work with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, sales, marketing, engineering, and support.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and continuously improve propositions for our IoT Connectivity Solution based on in-depth market and technology analysis.
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes to define the product strategy.
- Develop and maintain a product roadmap that aligns with market demands and the company's strategy.
- Create detailed requirements and specifications for new products or enhancements to existing products.
- Collaborate with technical teams to define the architecture and design of IoT connectivity solutions.
- Provide technical support to development teams, especially when integrating new technologies or platforms.
- Assess new technologies, networks (e.g., 5G, LPWAN), and platforms relevant to IoT applications.
- Lead and coordinate product development projects, including scheduling, resource allocation, and progress tracking.
- Work with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, sales, marketing, engineering, and support.
We are looking for someone with a relevant university degree (or adequate professional experience) - technical background, at least 5 years of professional experience in product management, preferably within Connectivity/Telecommunication Area, and proven track record in product management and understanding of technology in M2M/IoT Connectivity.
