We are seeking a driven and enthusiastic Support Technician with a solid foundation in computer and networking principles to deliver exceptional support for our advanced networking and security offerings. This entry-level position will involve direct interaction with customers, where you will identify, document, and resolve product support issues through various communication channels.
Responsibilities- Deliver technical assistance for Barracuda's security solutions via phone, email, chat, or remote access.
- Support our partners and clients with configuration, implementation, and troubleshooting tasks.
- Engage with customers and partners to ensure the protection of their IT environments.
- Provide guidance on our network, client/server systems, Linux/Windows/MacOS, storage, email, and web products.
- Completed education with a focus on IT (apprenticeship, technical school, university).
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ideally, prior experience in a technical support role.
- Solution-oriented mindset and eagerness to learn new technologies.
- Basic understanding of public cloud, VPN, virtualization, IoT, Microsoft 365, and web technologies is advantageous.
