Logistics Leader for European Transport Control Tower

About the Role
The Director Load Consolidation Center plays a pivotal part in Mondelēz International's European transport control tower, overseeing Transport, Customs, and Pallets management operations across Europe.
This position is accountable for operations, service delivery, financial performance, as well as defining/driving continuous improvement to deliver year-on-year productivity. The role requires strategy thinking and development of recommendations to senior management to generate buy-in for future initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing LCC strategies and roadmaps.
- Managing all activities related to international transport, import finished goods customs clearance, pooling pallets management to ensure safety, availability, and service delivery while meeting internal (e.g., Mdlz Europe policies, KPIs, costs) and external (e.g., customers, authorities) requirements.
- Managing risk management, ensuring continuity of supply through demand forecasting, transportation capacity management, and supplier relationships.
- Leading, developing, and delivering improvement processes and programs to enhance service and environmental impact, generate productivities, and lower the overall unit cost of transport, customs costs, and pallets for Mdlz Europe.
- Working with key stakeholders to share performance and agree action plans to improve KPIs and service.
- Actively contributing to Logistics Procurement in supplier evaluation and biddings optimization to maximize value and service delivery for transportation, customs, and Pallets.
- Evaluating suppliers' performance and working with them to ensure effective management, timely solutions, execution, and continuous improvements.
Requirements
- An engineering, logistics, or business university degree.
- Experience in Logistics Operations ideally with transport P&L management.
- At least 15 years of supply chain experience.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in leading and managing teams.
- FMC Геј exposures or logistic service provider ideal experiences in transport control tower.
Compensation Package
Including an estimated annual salary of approximately €69,700 euros, split into 14 monthly pays for full-time employees, based on this position's responsibilities and requirements in Europe.
