Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Global Safeguards Information Expert to join our team at the IAEA.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in collecting and analyzing safeguards information, working closely with experts across various disciplines.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to contribute to the development of our organization's non-proliferation initiatives.

As a Global Safeguards Information Expert, you will be responsible for:

  • Collecting and processing safeguards information from various sources;
  • Analyzing this data to identify trends and insights that inform our non-proliferation strategies;
  • Collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement effective safeguards solutions;
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant international laws and regulations.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as physics, chemistry, technology or engineering;
  • At least five years of experience in nuclear non-proliferation or safeguards information collection and analysis;
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data;
  • Proficiency in advanced software tools for information analysis;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
