About the Role

As a key member of the HR department at Global Blue, this role serves as a strategic partner to business leaders across the organization.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the effective deployment of group and local projects, while also taking on a mentoring function to dedicated senior managers and team leads.

This role involves collaborating closely with Country HR Business Partners to develop and support the execution of HR services in line with the Country HR Roadmap and corporate culture.

The ideal candidate will have an in-depth understanding of Austrian labor law and its applications, as well as advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Fluency in German and English is essential, along with excellent written communication skills and the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Partner to Business: Proactively interacts and builds strong relationships with key stakeholders to develop and support the execution of HR services in line with Country HR Roadmap and corporate culture.
  • HR Business Partnering: Provides expert guidance on HR policies, processes, and best practices, manages complex employee relations cases, and conflict resolution within the framework of Austrian legal regulations.
  • Austrian Labor Law Expertise and Experience with Collective Bargaining Agreements: Ensures all HR activities adhere to Austrian labor law and the respective collective bargaining agreement.
  • Employee Life Cycle Management: Oversees and manages all aspects of the employee life cycle, ensuring compliance with Austrian labor law.
  • Workers Council Collaboration: Works in close collaboration with the Workers Council, building strong relationships and fostering a positive working environment through a collaborative problem-solving approach.
  • Project Implementation: Leads local implementation of HR projects in alignment with Country HR Roadmap.

Main KPI's:

  • Provides support to people managers and acts as a partner to them
  • Delivers implementation of group and local HR projects
  • Ensures HR processes related to employee life cycle process are followed
  • Conducts regular HR process audits and can provide analysis and recommendation

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • University degree (preferably in human resources or business psychology)
  • Certification of completed course in Austrian labor law
  • Further training in HR-relevant areas (e.g. employment law, coaching, organizational development)
  • At least 5 years of experience in HR, at least 2 years in a similar role as HR Business Partner or HR Generalist in a complex international environment
  • Proven track record of successful collaboration in highly complex organizations
  • Experience with interactions at all levels of management

Salary: €60,000 - €80,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
