Strategic HR Partner for Global Blue

About the Role
The Strategic HR Partner for Global Blue acts as a key member of the HR department, ensuring the effective deployment of group and local projects. This role takes on a mentoring function to dedicated AVPs, Senior Managers, Managers, and Team Leads, while supporting the Country HR Business Partner in collaborating with higher management and the Workers Council.
This client-facing position requires a professional approach to work, with a focus on delivering timely and accurate information in a proactive and professional manner. Key responsibilities include:
- Strategic Partner to Business: Proactively interacts and builds strong relationships with key stakeholders to develop and support the execution of HR services in line with Country HR Roadmap and corporate culture.
- HR Business Partnering: Provides expert guidance on HR policies, processes, and best practices, while managing complex employee relations cases and conflict resolution within the framework of Austrian legal regulations.
- Austrian Labor Law Expertise and Experience with Collective Bargaining Agreements: Ensures all HR activities, including employment agreements, leave requests, terminations, and disciplinary actions, adhere to Austrian labor law and the respective collective bargaining agreement.
- Employee Life Cycle Management: Oversees and manages all aspects of the employee life cycle, ensuring compliance with Austrian labor law.
- Workers Council Collaboration: Works in close collaboration with the Workers Council, building strong relationships and fostering a positive working environment through a collaborative problem-solving approach.
- Project Implementation: Leads local implementation of HR projects in alignment with Country HR Roadmap.

- Provides support to people managers and acts as a partner to them.
- Delivers implementation of group and local HR projects.
- Ensures HR processes related to employee life cycle processes are followed.
- Conducts regular HR process audits and provides analysis and recommendations.
