Job Description

The Executive Director of Operations will be responsible for the overall operation of the hotel, driving revenue growth through strategic initiatives, developing and retaining a high-performing team, building connections to the local community, and ensuring all departments operate within brand standards.

  • Develop and implement operational strategies to drive revenue growth and improve guest satisfaction.
  • Lead and motivate a high-performing team to deliver exceptional results and exceed business goals.
  • Cultivate collaborative relationships with other departments, fostering effective communication and teamwork across the organization.
  • Monitor and action feedback received through guest satisfaction surveys, 3rd party websites, and from guests, resolving any disputes and complaints in a professional manner.

Estimated salary: €80,000 - €110,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Proven leadership experience and 3+ years in a similar executive management role within a lifestyle/luxury hotel or aparthotel.
  • Detailed knowledge and awareness of the local hotel market, ideally with working proficiency in both German and English.
  • Humble and approachable, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Forward-thinking and innovative, always looking for opportunities to improve operations.
  • Self-motivated and able to inspire and lead the team effectively.
  • Energetic, flexible, and adaptable to changing circumstances.
  • Ability to adapt effectively and make decisions under pressure.
  • Proficiency in engaging in strategic business discussions at a higher level.
  • Demonstrated success in driving revenues through the strategic management of commercial initiatives.
