We are a dynamic and rapidly expanding Aparthotel operator, making waves across the heart of European cities.
Job DescriptionWe seek an experienced Executive Hotel Director to lead our brand new 132 room Aparthotel in Vienna. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of leadership experience in a similar luxury or lifestyle property.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall operation of the hotel, driving revenue through strategic initiatives and developing a high-performing team.
A key aspect of this role is to foster collaborative relationships with other departments, ensuring effective communication and teamwork across the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Lead all aspects of the property, including rooms division, restaurants, bars, sales, and revenue.
- Ensure all departments operate within brand standards, addressing feedback in a timely manner.
- Evaluate individual and team performance against goals, providing constructive feedback through training and performance appraisals.
- Produce forecasts for revenues and costs, monitoring them within budgetary constraints.
- Maintain compliance with legislation and Staycity Group requirements regarding H&S and statutory regulations.
- Enhance team skills and knowledge through department-specific training plans aligning with strategic goals.
This role requires:
- Proven leadership experience in a luxury or lifestyle property.
- Detailed knowledge of the local hotel market, with working proficiency in German and English.
- Humble and approachable leadership style, fostering a positive work environment.
- Forward-thinking and innovative approach, seeking opportunities to improve operations.
- Self-motivation, ability to inspire and lead the team effectively.
- Ability to adapt under pressure and engage in strategic business discussions at a higher level.
- Demonstrated success in driving revenues through commercial initiatives.
- A bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
We offer a competitive salary of €60,000 - €80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including a generous holiday allowance, annual bonus, discounted rates for overnight stays, refer and earn scheme, volunteer days, and EAP support.
