Director of Spa Job Description

Mandarin Oriental, Vienna is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Spa to lead our luxury spa operations.

About the Role

We are looking for a talented individual with a minimum of 5 years of experience in hotel management or a related field. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the opening of our spa and fitness area, developing and implementing strategic initiatives to drive business performance, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Open and manage the spa and fitness area, ensuring seamless operations and excellent guest experiences
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance revenue and profitability, improve operational efficiency, and maintain high standards of quality and service
  • Lead and motivate a team of spa colleagues, providing coaching, training, and development opportunities to ensure their success
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute effective marketing strategies, promoting our spa services and amenities to guests and external partners
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A degree or diploma in hospitality management or a related field
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in hotel management or a related field
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
  • Fluent English language skills (written and spoken)
