Job Description

The Customer Protection International team at Entain is responsible for conducting thorough investigations of international customers to identify potential vulnerable gamblers and collaborating closely with the AML team. These investigations ensure that customers can support their levels of play and are protected from gambling harm.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Contacting customers to address potential Safer Gambling or Affordability concerns.
  • Performing RG reviews.
  • Delivering exceptional customer service while encouraging the use of Safer Gambling tools or seeking Source of Funds clarifications/evidence.
  • Evaluating customer responses and applying appropriate controls to mitigate risk in a timely manner.
  • Ensuring all necessary actions are taken, including loss limits, deposit limits, account closure, and maintaining a clearly documented audit trail of decision making.
  • Handling sensitive information in line with data privacy requirements.

Additional Requirements:

  • Excellent written and verbal English skills.
  • Fluent German at business level.
  • Ability to communicate sensitively and calmly with customers who may be distressed or angry.
  • Experience handling sensitive, confidential customer information.
  • Thorough understanding of Safer Gambling and AML policy requirements.
  • Sound knowledge of Safer Gambling customer tools.
  • Proven track record delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
  • Practical application of policy directives.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and highly efficient personality.
  • Must be detail-oriented and analytical.
  • Ability to examine problems and strategize for solutions.
