Customer Protection Specialist German Language Expert

Job Description:

As a key member of our Customer Protection International team, you will play a crucial role in conducting detailed investigations of international customers to detect potential vulnerable gamblers. Your close collaboration with our AML team will ensure that our customers are protected from gambling harm.

Main Responsibilities:

• Perform proactive RG reviews to identify potential Safer Gambling concerns.
• Conduct inbound and outbound contact with qualifying customers to address potential Safer Gambling or Affordability concerns via telephone or electronic means.
• Deliver outstanding customer service while encouraging the use of Safer Gambling tools or seeking Source of Funds clarifications/evidence.
• Use judgment and analysis to evaluate customer responses and apply appropriate controls to mitigate risk in a timely manner.
• Ensure all necessary actions are taken, including loss limits, deposit limits, account closure, and maintain a clearly documented audit trail of decision making.

Requirements:

• Excellent written and verbal English skills.
• Fluency in German at a business level.
• Ability to communicate sensitively and calmly, particularly with customers who may be distressed or angry.
• Experience in handling sensitive, confidential customer information.
• Thorough understanding of Safer Gambling and AML policy requirements.
• Sound knowledge of Safer Gambling customer tools.
• Proven track record in delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
• Practical application of policy directives.
• Self-motivated, organized, and highly efficient personality.
• Detail-oriented and analytical with the ability to examine problems and strategize for solutions.
