Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to join our team in Austria. This role will be responsible for driving sales growth and developing strong relationships with key accounts in the region.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of sales success, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a deep understanding of the Austrian outdoor market. They will be responsible for coordinating seasonal strategies, training account retail staff, and overseeing orderbooks to ensure best possible fulfillment and in-season sales opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate seasonal strategy to secure pre-orders and commitment from specialty base retailers
  • Action joint business and consumer plans with assigned partners to deliver on key strategic objectives and maximize guest experience
  • Train and educate account retail staff on brand promise, seasonal vision, and product specifics
  • Oversee orderbook to ensure best possible fulfillment, satisfied partners, and in-season sales opportunities
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of sales experience in outdoor sales and account management or related industry
  • Bachelor's degree or post-secondary education in Business Administration or related field
  • Excellent relationship-building and interpersonal skills, with ability to communicate with all levels, sell, influence, and negotiate
  • Fluent English and German language skills
  • Strong relationships in the Austrian Outdoor, Ski and Sports market
