We are seeking an experienced Strategic Sales Development Manager to join our team at Frequentis Group in Vienna, Austria. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in developing and executing sales strategies to drive business growth in the defense sector.

Job Overview

The Sales and Growth Director role will be responsible for creating and implementing sales funnels, collaborating with regional sales teams, and supporting customer interactions through consultative solution selling. This includes positioning and value propositioning, as well as capturing and closing deals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute sales strategies in collaboration with Sales Management and the Opportunity Team.
  • Create sales funnels in close cooperation with Regional Sales.
  • Support customer interactions through consultative solution selling.
  • Capture and close deals as Pursuit Responsible, with support from bid managers, product managers, and engineering teams.
  • Maintain up-to-date status reporting in our CRM and report to relevant internal stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Degree or equivalent in Telecommunication, IT, Engineering, Business Management, or Marketing & Sales.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English) with the ability to deliver persuasive presentations and proposals.
  • Prior experience in complex technical product sales and regulated public procurement rules in aviation, defense, or public infrastructure.
Estimated Salary: €60,000 - €80,000 per annum
