Job Description

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a highly motivated Sales Development Manager to drive biotech specific product sales and support supplier partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Thermo Fisher Scientific's sales positioning and products specific to your market segment.
  • Optimally communicate the segment adapted Thermo Fisher Scientific value proposition to key customers.
  • Achieve or exceed sales and margin targets for your designated territory.
  • Develop and implement strategic and tactical sales plans to ensure revenue and gross margin objectives are met.
  • Maintain effective customer relationships and assure continued market penetration and profitability.
  • Work closely with fellow sales team members to drive product sales and improved services.
  • Implement strategies for assigned Program and non-Program accounts.
  • Identify and satisfy customer requirements and meet the needs of valued business opportunities.
  • Review, maintain and lead compliance to key performance indicators.

Requirements:

  • Sales experience or highly motivated new starter.
  • Experience in science and/or Lab management, particularly in the field of laboratory equipment, lab consumables, chemicals, and life-science products.
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in the sciences or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication, and presentation skills.
  • Commercial mindset, strongly motivated by desire to win new business.
  • Proficient in German and English.
