Sales Development Manager

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a highly motivated Sales Development Manager to drive biotech specific product sales and support supplier partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Thermo Fisher Scientific's sales positioning and products specific to your market segment.
- Optimally communicate the segment adapted Thermo Fisher Scientific value proposition to key customers.
- Achieve or exceed sales and margin targets for your designated territory.
- Develop and implement strategic and tactical sales plans to ensure revenue and gross margin objectives are met.
- Maintain effective customer relationships and assure continued market penetration and profitability.
- Work closely with fellow sales team members to drive product sales and improved services.
- Implement strategies for assigned Program and non-Program accounts.
- Identify and satisfy customer requirements and meet the needs of valued business opportunities.
- Review, maintain and lead compliance to key performance indicators.
Requirements:
- Sales experience or highly motivated new starter.
- Experience in science and/or Lab management, particularly in the field of laboratory equipment, lab consumables, chemicals, and life-science products.
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in the sciences or equivalent work experience.
- Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication, and presentation skills.
- Commercial mindset, strongly motivated by desire to win new business.
- Proficient in German and English.
