About Us

TeamViewer, a leading global provider of remote connectivity solutions, is seeking an experienced Product Owner to join our engineering team in Linz. This role offers an exceptional opportunity to drive product initiatives and make a significant impact in a dynamic, agile environment.

About the Role

  • The successful candidate will take ownership of product initiatives, from requirements gathering to release, working closely with Product Managers and Scrum Teams.
  • Key responsibilities include driving customer-centric innovation, translating customer needs into cutting-edge product features, and defining key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Collaboration with UI/UX designers, engineers, and QA teams ensures quality standards are met, delighting customers and driving satisfaction.
  • Requirements gathering, user story creation, and documentation support will be essential skills for this role.
  • A strong understanding of technical feasibility and intuitive usage will enable the Product Owner to advance planned functions, making them exciting for customers.
  • This position requires a collaborative mindset, open communication, and a healthy dose of curiosity, encouraging exploration and questioning within the team.

Requirements

  • An undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of proven work experience in product management, software development, and quality assurance.
  • Strong technical understanding and previous coding experience are highly valued.
  • Experience with Scrum and Agile processes, particularly in Product Development, is advantageous.
  • Collaborative and pragmatic approach paired with excellent communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to advise stakeholders on commercial and technical factors, making recommendations to drive success.
  • Solution-oriented and flexible working style, responding effectively to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines using analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • A challenging mindset, questioning the status quo, pushing boundaries, and seeking innovation is crucial for this role.
  • Ability to make independent decisions, recognizing when to escalate for senior approval.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory, with additional languages like German being beneficial.
