The Role
We are seeking an Executive Product Manager for IoT Infrastructure to join our Vertical Markets team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for the lifecycle management of our Managed Connectivity Offering. This includes defining product strategies, developing roadmaps, and managing incident handling.
Key Responsibilities
- Market Analysis and Trends: Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes to define product strategies that drive business growth.
- Product Roadmap: Develop and maintain a product roadmap that aligns with market demands and company strategy, ensuring continuous innovation and improvement.
- Architecture and Design: Collaborate with technical teams to define the architecture and design of IoT connectivity solutions that meet customer needs and exceed expectations.
- Technical Support: Provide expert technical support to development teams, facilitating the integration of new technologies and platforms.
- Technology Evaluation: Assess new technologies, networks (e.g., 5G, LPWAN), and platforms relevant to IoT applications, ensuring they meet our quality standards.
- Project Management: Lead and coordinate product development projects, including scheduling, resource allocation, and progress tracking, to ensure timely delivery.
- Stakeholder Management: Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, sales, marketing, engineering, and support, to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements, maintaining our reputation for excellence.
- Market Launch: Plan and execute go-to-market strategies, including pricing, positioning, and sales support, to drive revenue growth.
- Customer Support and Feedback: Support sales and customer service to address technical queries and incorporate customer feedback into future product developments.
- KPI Tracking: Monitor product performance using Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as revenue, market share, customer satisfaction, and service quality.
- Data Analysis: Utilize data analytics to understand usage patterns and identify areas for improvement, driving data-driven decision-making.
- Security Requirements: Ensure connectivity solutions meet security standards and mitigate potential threats, protecting our customers' sensitive information.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry regulations and data protection laws, particularly in regulated markets, upholding our commitment to ethics.
- Innovation Pipeline: Build and maintain an innovation pipeline to explore new business opportunities through IoT connectivity, staying ahead of the competition.
- Partnerships: Identify and manage partnerships with technology providers, platforms, and other relevant players in the IoT ecosystem, fostering collaboration and growth.
Requirements
- Relevant University Degree or Professional Experience: A technical background is essential for this role.
- At Least 5 Years of Professional Experience: You should have extensive experience in product management, preferably within the Connectivity/Telcommunication area.
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrate a proven track record in product management and understanding of technology in M2M/IoT Connectivity.
- Broad Interdisciplinary Know-How: Possess broad interdisciplinary know-how on business topics and market understanding, preferable in one or many of our focus industries (transportation, utilities, construction, waste, manufacturing, retail).
- Language Skills: Fluency in English and German is required.
