Executive Regional Sales Manager

About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Executive Regional Sales Manager to join our team in Germany, responsible for managing the entire sales cycle, with an emphasis on prospecting and regional growth. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a vital role in meeting or exceeding defined sales targets within the assigned region and accounts.
Sales Targets: The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing and implementing strategic plans to reach sales targets, leading full sales cycles from prospecting, articulating value propositions, conducting sales meetings, demoing products, and closing sales. They will also work with customers to better understand their business needs and goals, providing prospects with solutions that will help them achieve their business objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed defined sales targets within the assigned region and accounts.
- Sales Cycle Management: Lead full sales cycles from prospecting, articulating value propositions, conducting sales meetings, demoing products, and closing sales.
- Customer Relationship Building: Foster lasting relationships with customers to grow customer loyalty and provide solutions that meet their business needs and goals.
- Sales Reporting: Draft detailed and accurate sales reports to track progress towards sales targets.
- Pricing Strategy: Assess costs, competition, and supply and demand to identify optimal selling prices.
- Sales Volume Estimation: Estimate sales volume and profit for current and new products.
Requirements:
- Relationships with Major CSPs: Establish and maintain strong relationships with major Communications Service Providers (CSPs) in Germany, including 1&1, O2 / Telefonica group, DT, and Vodafone.
- Software Sales Experience: Have in-depth knowledge and experience of selling software solutions to service providers, particularly in areas such as OSS, BSS, Network Testing, Service Assurance, Security, and Roaming.
- C-Suite Presentation and Closing Skills: Possess excellent presentation and closing skills, with the ability to present to and close deals with C-Suite executives.
- Analytical and Forecasting Skills: Demonstrate strong analytical skills, with the ability to forecast sales and manage sales pipeline effectively.
- Languages: Fluency in German and English is required.
- Project Management: Have the capacity to manage various projects and work to tight deadlines.
- Negotiation and Leadership Skills: Showcase excellent negotiation and leadership skills, with the ability to lead and motivate high-performing teams.
- Communication Skills: Possess outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and solutions clearly and concisely.
- Educational Background: Hold a degree in marketing, business administration, or a relevant technical field.
- Experience: A minimum of 7 years' experience in a similar role is required.
Compensation Package: The estimated salary for this role is €80,000 - €120,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. This figure includes a base salary, performance-based bonuses, and other benefits. Please note that this salary range is negotiable based on individual circumstances.
