We are seeking an exceptional Senior Sales Manager to lead our Quantum Key Distribution sales efforts. Based in Vienna, Austria, you will be a key player in expanding our market presence and driving revenue growth.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in physics, preferably with experience in photonic technology, telecom or network security, or cryptography. You will be responsible for generating leads, developing sales strategies, educating potential clients about the superiority of polarization-entanglement-based Quantum Key Distribution, and building strong relationships with new and existing clients.

As a seasoned sales professional, you will analyze market trends, adjust sales strategies accordingly, and create compelling sales materials. Your exceptional interpersonal and communication skills will enable you to effectively discuss complex technical topics with both quantum physicists and telecom security professionals. Strong presentation skills and a proactive approach to sales are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation: Proactively identify and engage potential clients at international conferences, exhibitions, and direct engagements to generate leads and initiate sales conversations.
  • Sales Strategy Development: Collaborate with the executive team to refine and implement sales strategies that highlight the technological advantages of our eQKD systems.
  • Educational Outreach: Utilize your expertise in physics to educate potential clients about the superiority of polarization-entanglement-based Quantum Key Distribution.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, ensuring their needs are met and they remain informed about new product developments and enhancements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Physics or a closely related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a sales role, preferably within the field of photonic technology, telecom or network security, or cryptography.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong presentation skills.

Salary: €80,000 - €120,000 per year, depending on experience.
