Job Description:About the Position:
We are seeking a highly qualified and scientifically excellent person to join our team as a Tenure-track Assistant Professor in Mobility and Production. The successful candidate will be part of the Field of Expertise Mobility and Production at Graz University of Technology.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct research in the area of mobility and production, focusing on novel mobility systems, vehicle technologies, and propulsion systems.
- Develop more economical and time-saving manufacturing processes that allow innovative design changes, utilize the advantages of new materials, and drive manufacturing towards a new level of precision work.
- Teach courses in the field of electrical and information engineering, including measurement of traffic-related emissions, condition monitoring, predictive maintenance, and second-life determination of drive-train components and systems.
- Supervise theses and promote young scientists.
Requirements:
- PhD-level university education in disciplines relevant for the position.
- Outstanding achievements in research, excellent publication record, and international reputation.
- International experience in the form of a PhD or Post-Doc.
- Experience in the design and implementation of international research projects, as well as the ability to establish and lead a research group.
- Enthusiasm for excellent teaching, teaching experience, and the ability to teach in all curricular stages (Bachelor, Master, Doctorate).
