National Account Manager - Retail GroceryThis iconic and well-known FMCG food organisation with strong core values sources and locally produces products with a significant emphasis on innovation and development.
They operate mainly within the Grocery and Foodservice channels but there is a real opportunity for further scope and growth in other channels.About the RoleReporting directly to the Managing Director (and working closely with the Chief Financial Officer), your key responsibilities will be to:Develop and enhance the key relationships with major National Grocery chains, specifically Coles and Woolworths, as well as Independents, whilst seeking to develop new business opportunities.Manage one direct report and the relationship with a 3rd party Brokerage organisation who manage the field force.Collaborate to successfully implement channel and category solutions delivering sustainable growth and relationships ongoing.Be measured by commercial and financial budgets while working closely with the major stakeholders across this business to align their values and professionalism, proactively sourcing emerging trends, consumer behaviors, and competitor activity that add real value to the business and its customer groups.Qualifications and ExperiencePreferably degree qualified in Business or other related courses.MUST have previous National Account Executive/Management experience within a Food category managing Coles, Woolworths, or both and possibly Independents.Possess superior communication skills with an ability to negotiate and influence at all levels both internally and externally.A proven background and ability to build long sustainable relationships that create growth and add real value.Outstanding commercial acumen with a focus on profitability and building broader brand awareness as this organisation continues to grow and flourish.An ability to work cross-functionally in project teams as well as fitting into an energetic and dynamic culture in a growing business, thriving in a performance-driven market will be well rewarded.How to ApplyTo learn more about this exceptional opportunity, please send your resume in WORD format to or for a confidential discussion, please contact Jason Burgess on .Your application will include the following questions:Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?How many years' experience do you have as a National Account Manager?How many years' experience do you have in a client services/account management role?Do you have experience in a sales role?Are you available to travel for this role when required?What's your expected annual base salary?How much notice are you required to give your current employer?Do you have a current Australian driver's licence?#J-18808-Ljbffr
