$145,378 to $168,0130 plus super and leave loadingJoin us in driving impactful change by transforming the NSW electricity systemExciting opportunity to support the Chief Executive Officer of EnergyCoTemporary Full Time role up to 12 months at 35 hours per week plus FlexTimeSydney or NSW location by negotiationHybrid working from home and office supportedSalary from $145,378 to $168,0130 plus super and leave loadingAbout the OpportunityOur EnergyCo NSW Office of the Chief Executive is currently seeking to appoint a Manager Executive Coordination to coordinate and support the Chief Executive and provide the EnergyCo leadership team high-quality executive, operational and project support services.The role is responsible for the management of the Chief Executive Office approvals processes, provision of strategic advice, project management support, identification of continuous improvement opportunities and provides a key point of contact for both government and non-government stakeholders.About YouWe're looking for someone who thrives in high-pressure, fast-paced environments and can handle sensitive, contentious issues with composure and professionalism.
You'll bring experience managing acute risks, leveraging the expertise of senior executives, experts and partners, and providing high-quality analysis and advice, often at short notice and under competing demands.
With a strategic focus and ability to work across a range of subjects, you'll be adept at navigating high energy, busy environments and managing multiple tasks effectively.You are a confident communicator, skilled at consulting and negotiating with diverse stakeholders, and balancing competing interests in unpredictable situations.
Ideally, you will have relevant experience in business administration, human resources, finance, risk, governance, legal, government policy, ministerial services, and/or secretariat, with practical knowledge of the workings of government and its processes.Essential requirementsDegree in a relevant discipline and/or relevant experience working with senior management in government or private sector.Who we are?The Energy Corporation of NSW (EnergyCo) is a statutory corporation established under the Energy and Utilities Administration Act 1987 and governed by its Board, appointed by the Minister for Energy.
EnergyCo is a Staff Agency employing all EnergyCo staff and is an agency related to the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (DCCEEW).EnergyCo plays a pivotal role in the NSW Government's Electricity Infrastructure Roadmap, which aims to transform the state's electricity system into one that is cheap, clean, and reliable.
As Infrastructure Planner under the Electricity Infrastructure Investment Act 2020, EnergyCo is responsible for leading the delivery of the State's first five Renewable Energy Zones (REZs) and the first two priority transmission infrastructure projects (PTIPs), which are located in the Central-West Orana, New England, South West, Hunter-Central Coast, and Illawarra regions.
