We are a small and successful team, committed to building our portfolio and delivering an unmatched service and customer experience.The Role:Given our increased scope, our Finance Manager role is newly expanded and has broad responsibility across operational financial and accounting functions, including: accounts payable, receivable, tax compliance, monthly close processes, monthly reporting, forecasting, budgeting, cash flow, payroll, and foreign exchange.This role will be part of our Leadership Team, reporting directly to our Managing Director.Key responsibilities:Hands-on management and accountability for our Invoicing, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll and BAS requirements.Coordinating and directing the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts.Preparing and publishing timely monthly financial statements.Cash flow management and forecasting.Development, review, and implementation of business improvement processes and procedures as required by the Leadership Team.Creating monthly and annual reports to identify results, trends, and financial forecasts.Contributing to company financial strategy and decision-making processes.Administration duties to assist and compile documentation for our external accountants relating to ATO / ASIC lodgements, BAS, State Revenue, Superannuation, and PAYG.Who you are:We are looking for an experienced and confident finance professional to be a driver for change and continuous improvement. Someone who will work as part of our Leadership Team to take our business to the next phase of growth and innovation.You are an experienced Finance Manager with a proven track record in high volume, operationally focused, service-based businesses.You can support both high-level accounting and finance responsibilities, as well as dive into the operating details on a day-to-day basis.You have:Proven experience in a similar role, in an operational business.Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.CA or CPA qualification.Strong financial reporting, management reporting, and tax experience.Excellent interpersonal, presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.Confidence dealing with senior stakeholders.Ability to solve complex issues.Ability to work under pressure.Strong attention to detail.Advanced computer software skills, including Excel and accounting packages.This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly regarded SME, with the potential to really take our Accounts department to the next level.
