Business Development Manager - Construction Industry Are you a results-driven Business Development Manager with a passion for the construction industry?
Do you thrive on building strong client relationships and uncovering new revenue opportunities?
The Business Development Manager (BDM) will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and building strong relationships with Tier 1 infrastructure and commercial clients.
Based in Melbourne's West, this role focuses on identifying new business opportunities on live projects, ensuring client satisfaction, and fostering long-term partnerships.
Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will work closely with Tier 1 infrastructure and commercial clients to grow revenue on live projects and ensure exceptional client satisfaction.
Here's what you will be doing: Solutions based selling to identify new business opportunities within current projects.Building and maintaining strong relationships with Tier 1 infrastructure and commercial clients, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.Identifying and pursuing additional revenue opportunities on current live projects.Managing the sales pipeline, including forecasting, reporting, and achieving revenue targets.Collaborating with project and operations teams to deliver tailored solutions to client needs.Monitoring market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.Here's what you will bring: Proven experience in business development or client service within the construction industry.Familiarity with Tier 1 infrastructure clients (preferred but not essential).Strong understanding of construction project lifecycles and industry operations.Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.Proactive and results-driven working style, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.Strategic mindset with a focus on achieving measurable business outcomes.Valid driver's license (company car provided).What's on Offer Competitive base salary of $150,000 plus Superannuation plus Car.Company car provided for business and personal use.Opportunity to work directly with Tier 1 clients and on high-profile projects.Career progression in a dynamic and growing organisation.A supportive and collaborative work environment.We look forward to hearing from you soon
