The Role The People and Culture Coordinator will play a pivotal role in managing HR administration, supporting staff and management, and ensuring the accurate implementation of payroll.
Working in close collaboration with external HR advisors and payroll specialists, you will provide essential HR support, manage recruitment processes, and ensure compliance with company policies.
This position is key to enhancing employee experiences and maintaining a high standard of organisational practice in line with Connect's mission and values.
Key Responsibilities HR Administration: Manage HR functions including updating and maintaining employee records in Employment Hero and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.HR Queries: Serve as the first point of contact for HR-related queries, responding to requests through the FOLIO system in a timely manner.Documentation: Collaborate with HR Advisors and the CEO to prepare contracts, letters, and other necessary HR documentation, ensuring clarity and compliance.Recruitment: Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process from job postings to onboarding, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and liaising with hiring managers.Payroll Coordination: Work with the payroll team to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing in line with organisational policies.Onboarding and Offboarding: Facilitate smooth transitions for new hires and departing employees, managing all necessary documentation and processes.Training Coordination: Assist with the coordination and scheduling of training and professional development opportunities.Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities to improve HR processes and contribute to the ongoing development of HR initiatives.Health, Safety, and Wellbeing: Ensure adherence to workplace health, safety, and wellbeing policies, including being the key liaison point with ICare for staff injury claims.Selection Criteria Qualifications Relevant degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources is desirable, but not essential.Required Skills Payroll Processing: Proven experience with payroll, attention to detail, and accuracy.HR Administration: Demonstrated experience in HR administration, managing employee records, and understanding the National Employment Standards.Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, particularly in preparing HR documents and correspondence.Problem-Solving: Strong skills in resolving HR queries and handling complex situations effectively.Technical Proficiency: Experience with HR systems such as Employment Hero, Go 1 Learning, FOLIO, and Microsoft Office Suite.Organisational Skills: Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks effectively.Why Work With Us?
