Football Victoria (FV) is the governing body for football in Victoria.

We are recognised as the organisation responsible for the administration, promotion and delivery of football and futsal (indoor football) in the state by both the State and Federal Governments, as well as Football Australia (FA).
Our funding derives from membership and club affiliation fees, government grants and corporate sponsorship.
Through the national body's affiliation with FIFA (Federation of International Football Associations), we oversee everything football in Victoria including:
Semi-Professional ranksAmateursWomen and GirlsYouthRefereeCoachesOfficialsVolunteersThe role We are looking for a Regional Football Development Manager to oversee and manage the growth, development, and operations of football in regional Victoria.
This role ensures that FV's 2024 Regional Review Recommendations are effectively implemented to foster increased participation, enhance club support, and ensure alignment with FV's strategic direction and objectives.
The position also holds a pivotal role across key growth projects within Football Victoria, contributing to the organisation's commitment to inclusivity and community engagement that facilitates the development of the broader Victorian football ecosystem.
Key responsibilities include: Provide leadership and strategic direction to all regional football activities, aligning with FV's overarching goals and ensuring the sustainable growth of the sport.Work closely with regional clubs to support their development, addressing challenges and providing resources to enhance their capacity to deliver football programs.Act as a central point of contact between FV and regional stakeholders, including regional committees, clubs, local councils, etc., to ensure strong relationships and collaboration.Successfully implement strategy, initiatives, and programs that promote positive environments for Women & Girls, stimulating growth for Women & Girls participation.Lead the planning and execution of regional football events, including competitions, tournaments, and events (e.g., Country Championships), ensuring high levels of participation and operational success, working closely with the Regional Competitions Coordinators.Oversee the delivery of FV's programs within the region, including coaching, refereeing, and participation initiatives, ensuring they meet regional needs and are executed effectively, working closely with the Regional Coach & Referee Education Coordinators.Manage the regional budget, ensuring financial resources are allocated effectively and spent in alignment with FV's financial policies and strategic priorities.Engage Regional stakeholders to collect data about participant satisfaction, experience, and outcomes across Regional Victoria.Provide regular reports on regional activities, including participation rates, program outcomes, strategic initiatives, and overall performance.A valid WWCC is required for this position.
Primarily based out of FV's head office at the Home of the Matildas in Bundoora, the role will see you travel and engage with our regional stakeholders, local councils, and any other person that is interested in our game.
