About the Role As a New Business Sales Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth within the education sector. Reporting directly to the Head of Sales, your primary responsibility will be selling spend management solutions to higher education institutions, universities, and school groups.
Key Responsibilities: Identify and engage new business opportunities within the education vertical.Develop and nurture relationships with multiple stakeholders, including procurement specialists, finance leaders, and IT decision-makers.Present multiple SaaS solutions to existing and new customers.Work independently to manage end-to-end sales cycles, achieving and exceeding sales quotas.Participate in industry events and build brand awareness within the education sector.Collaborate with pre-sales and marketing teams to deliver tailored solutions and presentations.What's in it for you? Experience: 5+ years in SaaS sales, with a strong preference for candidates experienced in selling to the education sector or within spend management/procurement solutions.Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the Australian education landscape, including relevant legislation and procurement processes.Skills: Proven ability to influence multiple stakeholders and navigate intricate decision-making processes.Location: Based in Melbourne, willing to travel to the CBD office as well as around Melbourne to meet clients.This dynamic role offers the chance to work with industry-leading solutions and make a real difference in the education sector.
