MTC Recruitment are specialist recruiters within the Manufacturing, Industrial, Logistics and Warehousing sectors.
From keeping the wheels of logistics turning to powering the engine of manufacturing, we know the essential role that skilled staff – both blue collar and white collar - play in driving businesses forward.Currently, we are seeking expressions of interest from Business Development professionals seeking employment opportunities across the greater Sydney metro area.Key Responsibilities:Focus on acquiring new clients and retaining current accounts, with performance measured through key metrics.Identify, build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and active clients.Maintain and grow existing client relationships, ensuring continued success and satisfaction.Identify emerging market trends and implement strategies to increase market share.Represent the company at client meetings, events and trade shows to enhance brand visibility.Work closely with internal teams to deliver seamless customer service.Create and implement strategies that focus on financial gain and customer satisfaction.Map out local markets, strengthening your network through collaboration both internally and externally.Negotiate and manage sales contracts, ensuring they comply with legal and company standards.Maintain accurate records of sales activity, revenue, and invoices.Provide exceptional after-sales support and nurture long-term client relationships.Mentor and guide entry-level staff to become proficient sales professionals.Ideal criteria include:Proven experience in business development, sales, or a similar role (specific industry experience is highly desirable).Strong sales performance with a history of achieving measurable results.High level of negotiation skills and the ability to communicate effectively.Proficiency in MS Office (particularly Excel) and CRM tools like Salesforce.Excellent communication, negotiation, and time-management skills.Highly driven and ambitious, with a hands-on approach to all aspects of the sales process.PLEASE NOTE THAT ONLY THOSE WITH PERMANENT AUSTRALIAN WORK RIGHTS NEED APPLY.
