Location ProfileManor Lakes P-12 College opened in 2009 and is located in Minindee Rd, Wyndham Vale. The college currently has an enrolment of 3000 students. The enrolment is expected to stabilise and possibly decline in the primary years and to continue to increase at secondary level. The backgrounds of our students reflect a cultural and socio-economic diversity. The college has a Student Family Occupation (SFO) of 0.552 which indicates that there is a level of disadvantage within our community. Approximately 16% of our student population come from a language background other than English.

We strive to provide the best possible education for our students and support for our staff, backed by current research about how students learn.
The College aims for an inclusive and welcoming culture for all families and students within our Designated Neighbourhood Area. We have established a number of programs and structures to provide appropriate learning environments and programs for all students including those with additional learning needs.
The college has developed partnerships with local and wider community agencies and organisations, including the Smith Family and various educational settings. Our Sports Academy has affiliations with local sports teams.
The College has a relentless focus on continuous improvement in all aspects of College life, particularly in improving learning outcomes for all students. All staff are members of Professional Learning Teams and School Improvement Teams which focus on using data and evidence to identify areas for improvement.
All new staff to Manor Lakes P-12 College participate in a comprehensive induction program outlining the college vision, expectations, and pedagogical approaches.
We have 18 relocatable buildings that house 34 classroom spaces across the college, alongside permanent classrooms and administration areas.
Our staff are committed to enhancing their skills through professional learning opportunities and active involvement in Professional Learning Teams.

Selection CriteriaApplicants are encouraged to address Selection Criteria from an Allied Health Assistant perspective: SC1: Demonstrated experience and skills in delivering Allied Health supports to students as advised by therapists.SC2: Demonstrated capacity to undertake administrative work associated with the role.SC3: Demonstrated high level oral and written communication skills.SC4: Demonstrated capacity to provide advice and support to other classroom support staff.SC5: Demonstrated commitment to professional learning and growth.RoleAttendance may be required for up to 6 days during school holiday periods. A leave purchase of 72.47% of the hourly rate will be paid for additional attendance during school holidays.
The role includes management responsibility and accountability for the delivery of professional support services, impacting beyond the work area. Direction on targets and goals is provided, but the position has some latitude in determining how they are achieved.
ResponsibilitiesPlans and facilitates 1:1 AH and small group sessions in consultation with therapists.Provides classroom support through observations and education to class teachers and education support staff.Resourcing and equipment distribution.Liaise with external providers of support services.Maintains up-to-date documentation of sessions and student communications.Adheres to confidentiality guidelines.Attends Allied Health team meetings and student support groups.Maintains responsibility for personal and professional development.Who May ApplyIndividuals with the aptitude, experience and/or qualifications to fulfill the specific requirements of the position.
