Join us as our People & Office Assistant, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring a welcoming, organised, and vibrant workplace at our Melbourne headquarters. From managing daily operations and enhancing team culture to supporting onboarding and key people programs, you'll be at the heart of what keeps our team thriving. This dynamic role is perfect for those looking to grow their career in People and Culture or aspiring to an Executive Assistant role as we expand.What You Will Own:Office Management: Ensure our Melbourne office is functional, organised, and welcoming by managing operations, coordinating with vendors, maintaining office supplies, tracking inventory such as merchandise and arranging catering.Events & Culture: Organise and execute team events and activities, including fortnightly showcases, monthly all-hands meetings, and leadership gatherings, fostering a vibrant and connected work culture.People Operations Support: Be the go-to for team member queries by coordinating onboarding, supporting recruitment logistics, assisting with Learning and Development programs, and managing our Reward and Recognition program.Leadership and Administrative Support: Provide ad hoc administrative support to the leadership team, including scheduling meetings, managing travel arrangements, and assisting with other administrative needs.What We Are Looking For:Experience: Demonstrated experience in office administration or as an assistant in a dynamic startup environment, with a proven ability to organise team events and activities that enhance team morale and promote company culture.Organisational Skills: Exceptional organisational abilities with a strong aptitude for multitasking and prioritising tasks efficiently.Communication: Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building effective relationships at all levels.Proactive Approach: A positive, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to tackle challenges head-on.Problem-Solving: Proven ability to identify issues and implement practical solutions.Tech Proficiency: Strong proficiency in Google G-Suite and Microsoft Office, enabling efficient management of digital workflows.Location and Working Rights: Applicants must have full Australian working rights and be based in Melbourne, working onsite five days a week.Now, let's talk about our inspiring work environment:Based in Melbourne, Australia, our vibrant team of 50 (and growing rapidly) is making waves in the industry.Fun-fact: Our office overlooks the oldest building in Australia, an enchanting old Irish pub.
