Marketing Manager

The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies and campaigns to promote the association's membership, programs, services, and events.
This role involves managing all marketing activities, including digital marketing, social media, and member communications, to enhance the association's visibility and engagement.
This role involves creating engaging copy, designing graphics and ensuring brand consistency.
As a key member of the leadership team, the Marketing Manager will work closely with department managers to align marketing strategies with overall business goals.Key ResponsibilitiesMarketing Strategy and Planning:Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans to support the association's goals and objectives.Take a whole of association approach to marketing, ensuring all elements work in concert, cross promoting and building on existing awareness.Identify target audiences and create tailored marketing campaigns to attract and retain members.Monitor and analyse market trends and adjust strategies accordingly.Digital Marketing:Manage the association's website, ensuring content is up-to-date and engaging.Oversee social media accounts, creating and scheduling posts to increase engagement and reach.Implement email marketing campaigns, including newsletters and promotional emailsContent Creation:Produce high-quality content for various platforms.Collaborate with internal teams to gather content and ensure consistent messaging.Design visually appealing graphics that align with brand guidelines.Event|Program Promotion:Develop marketing plans for association events, including conferences, workshops, and webinars.Coordinate with event planners to ensure effective promotion and high attendance.Member Communications:Create and distribute member communications, including updates, announcements, and surveys.Develop strategies to enhance member engagement and satisfaction.Analytics and Reporting:Track and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns using analytics tools.Provide regular reports to the Executive Director on marketing performance and ROI.Leadership and Collaboration:Supervise and mentor the Marketing Coordinator, providing guidance and support.Collaborate with other members of the leadership team to align marketing efforts with business objectives.Present marketing plans and performance reports to the CEO and other stakeholders.Key Competencies:Strategic ThinkingCreativity and InnovationAttention to DetailCommunication and Interpersonal SkillsLeadership and Team Management
